Am I missing something here?
I see a lot of the use if the word “base” when I would expect “bass”. i.e. when referring to the lower registers/ notes of music.
I understand that English is not everyone’s first language, but I see “base” appearing from those who I think English is their first language.
Don’t want to turn into the grammar/ spelling police, so perhaps there is something I’ve missed?

Could it be typos or autocorrect guessing the wrong world?
I was going with autocorrect. But Samsung recognised “bass” OK.
I genuinely thought I’d missed a bit of yoof-speak that had crept into the forum. And was worried I was getting left behind!

Bass is fishy, one could easily flounder thining about this.
Did you do that on porpoise or for the halibut?
