Just taken a punt on a pair and waiting for delivery.
Room is already doctored with wall “styrofoam” panelling and a nice thick carpet.
Anybody done this? What differences or improvements did you notice?
It’s different in every room. Generally, due to physics, passive “bass” traps of this size do little for bass and it’s actually a misnomer, they don’t trap bass. They have more effect on lower mids at best. However, the right one in a specific room situation may be beneficial, but can’t be answered in general.
