Becoming Led Zeppelin

Not quite sure which section this should sit in but as I’m typing this in my lounge, this should be okay.

I went to the Belfast iMAX today to see this movie and thoroughly enjoyed it. The real gem seems to be an interview recorded in Australia many years ago with John Bonham which provided a lovely insight into the person behind the drum sticks. Apart from the Led Zep aspect, I thought the film delivered a great perspective on the transition music went through in UK through the 1960s.

The iMAX cinema was the ideal place to watch this with a huge screen and very decent sound quality. Really enjoyed it and recommend it to all.

Agreed. Saw this in an iMax theater this week and enjoyed it. Covers the early years through first and second albums. I now have an even greater appreciation for Bonham (and his right foot!). Amazed there were film recordings of some of their very first gigs. Also didn’t know Jones and Page did session work on Shirley Bassey’s Goldfinger track.
