The Gospel According To Spinal Tap. The cover’s quite good, but it’s the review that counts:

This is just beautifully simple use of colour and graphic elements from Peter Saville. When you see it in real life, blown up to LP size and printed on that special 1981 card stock, it’s just gorgeous…

Don’t get any more iconic than Bowie’s Ziggy cover instantly recognisable. I’m surprised no one’s posted it before.
