He is the lead singer from The National and this is (I think) his second album. Gorgeously crafted and fantastic middle-aged angst. I listen to it almost every day. Get it on vinyl if you can (obvs)

Been out a good while and it’s lovely. One for National fans who don’t like the fact they’ve forgotten how to write memorable songs.
Can’t say I’d rave about the production. Sounds lovely regardless of format though.
On a fair few ‘Best new music’ lists on the Forum last year. I thought it better than his 1st solo album (Serpentine Prison) and the last few by The National which I think have been pretty drab.
