I’m interested in seeing what other seminal live albums there are out there.

There is a recent thread running on much the same subject - maybe you’re better joining that?
David Gilmour, Live in Gdańsk . It was part of his On an Island tour & included a 100,000 crowd & the string section of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic.

I love Made in Japan, and it’s a real classic. I bought that Melody Gardot and it’s dreadful, like an automaton going through the motions. I like her studio albums so it was a real disappointment.
Three of my favourites are Live at the Counter Eurovision 79 by Misty in Roots, Rank by The Smiths and Live in Crawley 83 by Richard Thompson and Danny Thompson. The latter is an official bootleg, if such a thing exists.
Shame the Melody album doesn’t do it for you. Saw her during this tour at the Barbican. It was a fantastic gig. That’s the great thing about music. We all have our favourites and blind spots which I believe is a good thing.
Here’s a couple of others:
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous
Dr Feelgood - Stupidity
