Does the BlueSound Node 2i Support a Type-A USB port for connecting either a USB flash stick or external SSD for storing and playing WAV files? I see my node has a mini USB but it appears to be for servicing?

It does but it does not support an ssd, only usb with a few albums. Can’t really remember, I believe it’s because it has to index every single time. I went down that rabbit hole because I couldn’t get my NAS to play nice with the Node 2i (a WD MyCloud Home which turns out not to be a NAS but that’s another story).

1 usb connection is limited to a format type, you have to look in the manual. Node can read any disk formatted in that way only
2 I also have my cloud only and node can read the public folder, I asked bluesound support to connect to it
