Bluetooth from LG OLED TV to ND5 XS2

I thought I would try sending the TV audio to the ND5 XS2 using Bluetooth just to see how it sounded. The TV shows that it is paired with the streamer and that bluetooth is the audio out device but I’m getting no sound. Anything obvious I may be missing? Is it even possible to do this?

Can’t help with your troubleshooting, I’m afraid, but I tried using Bluetooth from my LG OLED to a (non Naim) hifi system. It worked but was unusable because of time lag. Lip synch was too far out to be watchable.

So I sold the old hi-fi, bought a Unity Atom, and now send the audio over HDMI ARC. This works great 95% of the time, but does have to re-configured periodically - as per several other posts on here.

I tried BlueTooth on a number of TV into Amp/Streamer brands, none worked well, some just didn’t work.

Best solution is optical (Toslink)

Thanks for the replies. The TV currently has a Bose soundbar connected by an optical cable, I was just curious to see how and if it would work with Bluetooth through the Naim system

If you do get it working, and there is a sync issue, bear in mind that some TV’s do have an option to adjust the time sync delay

I’d have to have some sound first to know if that’s a problem or not!
