Question: Does my headphone amplifier within my Atom has got a breaking in period apart from the main amplifier?
To some degree it will and as a source and preamp, certainly.
But whether you notice it is another matter and since you already have it, it’s largely moot. It will sound how it sounds.
Maybe best to reverse the question. Do you currently have a problem with how it sounds?
My Atom sounds wonderful. I’m truly amazed how it’s keep sounding better especially after adding chord speaker cable. Normally a listen by headphone while working in my home office. That’s done with an relative cheap headphone amp. But sounds appropriate. So I have never used my Atom headphone output. That’s why I’ve started this question.
