I dropped my Narcom4 remote and now it works only intermittenlty. I replaced the batteries and cleaned the terminals on the door; same results. I suspect I cracked a connection inside.
I have already bought a new Narcom5 today for $200. Any hope of repairing the 4 at all?
Narcom5 battery door and layout are MUCH nicer! I do kind of miss the white buttons, though.

Once these things break then replacement is usually the only viable option, unless you can find someone who specialises in trying to repair. FWIW, I’ve always thought the Narcom 5 to be nicer than the 4 (aka The Stealth).
p.s. I still have a Narcom 4 somewhere that got chewed by one of the dogs - worryingly the battery door has never been found!

Just noticing the Narcom5 “harmonizes” well with the Uniti remote that my NDX has. Synergy is a good thing!
