… the present I gave my mum when she turned 60 (not so long ago):
I love Lego it was always my go to when feeling unwell as a child.
Must revisit again looking at some of these models.
I do have a special piece of Lego though, a friend of ours son is a designer at Lego and a few years ago made 50 of these for charity using standard parts.
Tree, hat etc.
It was an expensive month. We took delivery of a new floor, an LP12, a new sofa and a Christmas tree. Also a preloved Galaxy arrived (brick is actually from the seventies), but it looks damaged. Not sure if I repair it or send it back.
Since we ran out of money, I nicked the well known piece of art.
Obviously a interior designer. Excellent job.
Well happy birthday (for yesterday I think).
You’re right! Thank you Pete
I love that! (happy birthday, by the way).
58?
Right 58.
Thank you Richard.

I’ve just spent the last two weeks building this beast.
1/8th scale Bugatti Chiron
…the first time I’ve ever taken anything like this on, and I frankly loved it!
3599 pieces, and just a marvel to build up.
Will take its place next to the Porsche GT3 RS I already have (but my son built for me!) and at some point I’ll add the Lamborghini and have the complete 1/8th scale collection…for now…
Wow, some great models…
as a nipper I was more into meccano (been building things ever since), the kids were more lego…
going to build the ‘sub’ in the coming weeks…have an unopened box…
