I know it may be too much and a bit against the rules, but I could not resist…

Hi @Cmax that looks cool!

In August this year, I took my son and daughter to The Adelphi Theatre in London to see Back To The Future - The Musical, which was amazingly good, and highly recommended for fans of the films. In the show the car does everything you expect and want it to! We found it very funny, with a perfect cast, and the special effects combined with the staging were excellent.

I made it a full surprise trip for them, until we actually arrived at the theatre and they found out - which was great fun for me, because when questioned beforehand, I made subtle references to being late / our time schedule / we might have been there before / we certainly will go again etc !

Thanks Geoff, it’s a good build, and I’m tempted to buy another two, to build the other two alternatives, but we will see.

The visit to the theatre :performing_arts: wow! What a great surprise for your son and daughter, something special to remember.

Lego Statue of Liberty is my latest Lego build.

When very young, one of the daughters was mightily impressed that the Americans had built a monument to…ice cream.

That’s excellent.

Mint In Box…!

Have had this for years and, as a MINI driver, always intended to build it and put it somewhere either in the house or out in the garage to keep the JCW company!…but never got round to it.

Thinking if I sit on it longer I might be able to convert into a new Naim box…!

Lego seems crazy money now – and to think my parents chucked boxes & boxes of my childhood stuff out…! As ever though, you can hardly give old stuff away and everyone wants the latest and brightest….

I know, I agree…!
Can’t see me selling it in all honesty, besides it was my mother who gifted me with it as a bit of fun…! :oncoming_automobile:

But, the also ‘MIB’ Pioneer Kuro Ltd White Edition may be a different matter…! Jeez, I really must have a clear out…!

I do like the Technics range. Very interesting builds. More so than even the magnificent Titanic.

The innards of the Landie Disco were absolutely phenomenal, and not an easy build!

I hanker after the two big Liebherr models - crane and excavator - but really have nowhere to put them. (Our SiL and his dad built the excavator a couple of Xmases ago)

I think it’ll be Shackleton’s Endurance for Christmas.

I got back into Lego with the Technics range and just concentrated on Technics up to the release of the Lego Black Pearl ship, that was the start of the slippery slope, to non technics, Saturn 5 followed and quite a few others…… I do have the large Liebherr excavator, which is still in its box, plus the app controlled excavator, but as you say it’s where to put them, when finished, Titanic is stored in a large Really Usefull Box when not on display.

A few shots of the App Controlled Excavator, can really recommend this, and its fun to play with too.
