Very nice Garry
I dip in to the Lego thread and seeing the Statue Of Liberty brought a big smile :grinning:

Day 2 of the G-wagon build, showing the addition’s of bags 3 & 4, which adds the gearbox plus the 2 or 4 wheel drive selector, pleased to say it works, as designed, phew!

Do any of you have experience of Briksmax LED add-ons for LEGO sets?

Sorry @R.K can’t help you there, its not something I’ve ever installed, but you’ve got me intrigued, so a set is on order for the Lego 21347 Red Telephone Box Set, at £8.62 in the Black Friday sale, what’s to lose.

Thanks @Cmax
Where is that Black Fri sale?

Is Briksmax the modular one? If so then, both myself & daughter1 have used it. I like its flexibility, indeed daughter1 has been adding extra LEDs to what was the basic kit for Rivendell, as her model has expanded.

However, because its’s modular, the i/c are set lengths, which can result in a lot of coiled up wire. I had to build a small compartment under Tranquil Garden in order to hide the excess cable & connector blocks.

Personally I prefer the “bespoke” kits from Lightailing.

Ali-express online, I ended up paying £8.62 down from over £25 so will give it a go.

End of Part 6 and the running part of the chassis is 90% complete, from now on its bodywork.

Not the best shots in the world, but just to show, for those interested, the the end of bag 10 and instruction book 1.

A break from the G Wagon, a free gift from Lego, following a recent order, I was tempted to show it in System Pic’s, but didn’t want banning from the forum…
