Just started this - 2 packs in. I’ve played with Lego with the kids and grandkids for years but I’ve never done one like this before - hope I can do it!

I’m much too unimaginative to tackle a Lego build but thought I’d mention I listened to an old Desert Island Discs episode the other day where the guest was Nicola Fox, NASA’s head of science who confided that in times of stress she often turns to Lego! During a particularly stressful experience she built the Titanic in Lego! No pictures to post from the radio show though!

When I was a small boy my parents could always tell when I was ill.
I would always dig out the Lego - long before kits were available.

Hi Ian - I bought it from Jack’s Third Man Record Shop a few years ago. Yes they were a great band but unfortunately I never got to see them live. Cheers Paul

Packs 7, 8 and 9 now complete. After packs 2 and 9 you are requested to test the motor (installed in pack 2) to make sure everything is working correctly. Good idea, as there’s no point getting to the end before finding out you made a mistake earlier. This is a great build so far!

Thanks for the update, this is quite impressive and I’ve given in to temptation and ordered the set… :+1:

I was undecided at first because it’s not cheap. However, the design and the way things are put together is outstanding.
I’m very happy I decided to get it and I’m only half way there! I’m trying to limit myself to two packs a day ( I sound like a smoker) but these take 2 -3 hours to do. Hope you enjoy it as much as I’m doing. I’ll continue to post until it’s done. Good luck!

I have the piano - it’s really good. It’s the only model my better half lets me keep on display - she’s a pianist!

Not a Lego fan but that piano looks like a miniature engineering and design marvel. Nice build.
