I would have a James Webb model set if I could - despite a great proposal it did not pass the lego ideas board.
Lego Review
That would have been a good set ![]()
Got the Studio file for a small JW, but not built it.
EDIT: The files (Studio and PDF instructions) are available on Rebrickable.
Rebrickable have instructions for a 1:25 scale JWST… (11 euros for the PDF).
But at 5106 pieces, I think I might stick with the 487 piece 1:110 scale version, although there is also a thousand piece one to the same scale as the Hubble that came with the shuttle. Might be a good compromise
Somehow never cottoned on to the Lego thread here.
Dropping in with an overview of the current state of Lego at home.
Nice collection ![]()
Today is the 60th anniversary of the first episode of Thunderbirds.
My son is a fan of both Thunderbirds and Lego, so he has created this video of some of his MOCs
Wow!, what a great video, some excellent models there, love the Mole!
Are any of the designs available to download, well impressed ![]()

Thank you for your kind comments. I have passed them on to him.
He plans to do some designs, but his current priority is getting things ready to display at the regional Lego Brick Festival in Milton Keynes on 19 October. It’s not something we have tried before. I will take some photos of his display.
The Mole would be a good choice, though sourcing the rare shiny drill cone would be tricky for anyone other than the most determined. He plans to design an alternative drill cone to make the build more achievable..
I hope he has a great Brick Festival, he deserves to do well and look forward to seeing photo’s of his display ![]()

Looks FAB ![]()
Thats brilliant ![]()
I’m a big fan of the Lego Speed Champions range, however spotted this on the big river last week and thought I would give it a try, Its made by Mattel, A Maserati MC20, 250 pieces, quite a few unique to this model.
Would I buy any more ? yes and you get the Hot Wheels MC 20 as well
Shown with the Lego Corvette
That’s pretty cool ![]()
Chinese Lego copy of a VW Mk 1 Golf, decent build, colour consistency as you can see is not a patch on the real Lego Product, but easy to duplicate in Lego.
The Lego Brick Festival was a huge success. Very busy and my son’s display got a lot of interest.
Here are a few photos (the Star Wars sets are part of someone else’s display):
I will post a link to a new video he made (I helped a bit), showing Thunderbirds 2 and 4 in action.
Thanks for sharing your photos, what a fantastic display, looking forward to the Video ![]()
