Cambridge Audio Evo One

Anyone with an opinion on the Evo One? On spec, seems interesting and a direct competitor of MuSo 2.

I’ve had mine 10 days.

It replaced a Muso Gen1 and a Dali Soundbar, it is impressive all round.

Goes loud, has deep controlled bass and nice mids and treble.

Screen is fab and it all looks gorgeous.

I’ve encountered an issue with getting it to load tracks to play on random, found a way round it. Strangely it worked the way I had expected for a few days and then stopped.

Do like the StreamMagic app.

Overall very happy with it. If the Muso had a screen then that’d be interesting.

Cambridge are definitely making some nice looking products right now. I’ve always been a fan of theirs as, like Naim, they stick to their guns and just make true hifi products. My first proper system was a Cambridge amp, CD player and Wharfedale Diamond 9.1s. It looked and sounded great :+1:

I know of at least 2 ex Naim r&d now working at Cambridge. Both worked on musos.
