I have 8 year old naim uniti 2. I can no longer connect it to Tidal Naim app on my I pad. It is a wired connection. I can’t connect with the IP address and have been advised I need to bring my unit in for a Naim software update. I wondered whether I could instead sign up to Apple Music or possibly Amazon or Deezer so I can continue to listen to streamed music rather than take unit in. ? Thanks… I am not v tech savvy!!
Tidal changed the login procedure which forced Naim to issue a fix in firmware version 4.8. Without this, you cannot login to tidal via the Naim app.
The alternative, as you are looking for Apple Music or Amazon or deezer would be to add another streamer that does support these streaming services.

When did you lose Tidal? The 4.8 update that corrected a Tidal authentication issue was released some time ago, so you would have lost Tidal about 3 years ago if that was the problem.
