Ah, it would appear neither of us are very well versed in electronic attributes of cables. With luck lets hope someone might be able to step in and give some useful info.
I don’t think it’s really that complicated. I’m not aware of any cable that matches the low capacitance and reasonably high inductance of NACA5 in an even shorter length, especially given that 3.5m is a minimum recommendation, not optimum.
Many manufacturers don’t bother to quote these specifications for their cables. Perhaps that’s because apart from Naim users nobody would be particularly interested. If anyone did make a suitable cable of very short length it would almost certainly be produced and marketed specifically for Naim users, so I think we would know about it.
