I have set up a Universal Media Server (UMS) on an Intel NUC Windows 10 box.
Most of my music collection uses FLAC files but I do have some legacy MP3 files I also want to play.
Both my Uniti-2 and Mu-So (original) can see all the files through the uPNP browser, and all FLAC files play fine with no issues. When I try to add MP3 files which show in the list, nothing plays and get message 0 tracks added.
I am fairly happy the UMS is set up OK because I can play the MP3 files on another PC through the UMS device web page on Google Chrome.
I have made sure I am running the latest firmware (4.8 for Uniti-2).
Advice please.
Thanks
If these mp3 files are “joint stereo” then they are not a compatible file format.

Thanks for that. I will check what format they are.
Appreciated.
I use AssetUPNP and was able to fudge it, you might be able to:-
It may well be fixed when the new firmware for the original Muso is released.
Have checked, and the mp3 files are definitely stereo and not joint stereo.
So I still have a problem
Thanks for the suggestion though.
