Can't see downloads folder on Core since upgrading to Windows 11

Pleased to advise that I have eventually been able to access my downloads folder on a W11 laptop. Thanks for all the advice given here.

I emailed Naim support and they advised mapping network drives, which i had tried before, but i followed Naim’s exact identifier guidance below which worked.

Mapping the Downloads Music Folder easy access for the Uniticore and Unitiserve Windows 10

1. Open file explorer, the folder icon on the task bar and click on “This PC” shown on the left of the opened window. 2. At the top of the opened screen (see picture below), you’ll see a tab called “Map Network Drive”, click on this.

You will need the unique identifier (name) of the device that you wish to map. The details must be exactly the same as they appear, so if you have re-named the unit, please use the new details. Here are some examples of default names for the Core and Serve. Uniticore = Uniti Core 990452 or Unitiserve = NSSRV38AC When you have the unique identifier, type it into the “folder” box like this… Uniticore = \\Uniti Core 990452\Downloads or Unitiserve = \\NSSRV38AC\Downloads When you have input the details, please click finish.

Note: When you have set this up, it will always be visible and accessible, just as long as the mapped drive is still connected to the network. If you’re having issues discovering the unit on your network, please refer to the “Enable Network Discovery” and “SMB File Sharing” documents
