Hi all I’m starting the building up of my Fraim and letting the bottom level settle before I continue but I’d like confirmation of which speaker is left and right
Ch1 is left …..but is that as I the audience look at the stage or is it how the band would play?
Ie Martin Gore is on the left as I watch or he’s on Dave Gahans right side?
Ps do you think the wife will spot the carpet cuts
‘CH1 - Left’ goes to the left speaker. ( as the audience look at the stage )

It’s slightly counterintuitive because when the amp is in position, the L speaker output is to the R and vice versa, so that they cross over each other. (Slightly less confusing, and less important, than getting the polarity right if you are using Naim cables and banana plugs.)
My wife would notice the carpet cuts…….hope your’s isn’t so observant! 
I have often thought the same, but was never sure which channel is left or right, so thanks for highlighting this and getting clarification.
As for the carpet cuts, thats an altogether different story! Unless you have appropriately applied for approval, my guess is that you are in trouble!!
I didn’t apply for permission…..
I’ll blame the old carpet and brace myself for the storm
