Can anyone suggest a decent CD player that fits Unitiqute width as will be stacked? Around £500 mark.
Also, assume will need to use digital input as TT is using analogue input.

What comes to mind is a second hand Cyrus player. A good selection on eBay. Cyrus have had a great CD player reputation for many, many years.

Rega Apollo is half width and you should be able to get an ex dem unit for that budget as they are £629 new. Would the lid on top be an issue?

A Unitiserve would be a perfect cosmetic match. Then, if you’re prepared to tolerate a 4 minute delay between insering the disc and pressing the play button, you’ll soon be able to get rid of all those hideous plastic cases. But it will still just play the CDs if you prefer.
