CD ripping advice

Agree, except I use Metadatics rather than mp3tag. Metadatics has all sorts of features for batch editing which are not in dBpoweramp, good though that is for ripping.

Fair enough. I really like the improved dbpoweramp meta data editor… I admit a few years back it was a little limited. I like how you can now import rich meta data of rare CDs from Discogs etc.. rather than having to manually type in… a real time … and irritant saver :wink:

Song Kong works too

I rip on a Mac with XLD to AIFF.. When XLD can’t find metadata, which is like 1 in a hundred discs, I’ll use DBP.
