CD with Hicap

If I want to use a CD 3.5 with it’s own hicap, connected to a NAC 72 (which has a separate hicap), I connect the 3.5 to the hicap with a 5 pin snaic. Do I also connect the CD player straight to the pre-amp with a 5 pin din interconnect, or does the signal pass through the hicap?

Thank you.

The Hicap is just an external power supply so you still have to connect the cd 3.5 directly into an input on the 72 to hear music.

Thank you very much.

Simon if you haven’t got a manual you can pop over to this link and download one from here.

I used a Hi-Cap on my CD 3.5 when it was in my system made a big improvement.
