What, if anything, does 99 on the display of a CD5si mean? I got home tonight to see that on the display. I opened the door and there was no disc inside and when I closed the door the display went back to the usual 2 hyphens. I mentioned this to the other half and she said that she had pressed a few buttons trying to switch the XS2 from CD to the streamer but I can’t think what would have caused a 99 on the display?
Pressing 9 on the keypad twice?
No, not that, she says she didn’t use the remote control.
pressing track previous?
Pressing previous on the unit or remote will display 99 if there is no disc loaded - I think!

Bingo, pressing Previous with no disc loaded makes the display show 99.
