CDS 3 power supply on ndxs

Hi all

There’s possibly a CDS 3 on the horizon and I’ll need a power supply.

Which power supply will run the cd player and then if and when the cds3 dies can I then use on a streamer

Designed to use the xps-2, but can use the 555ps.

Just be aware that the older Olive style XPS can’t be used with a streamer, so it would become redundant if you were to move on from the CD player. Thus the need for an XPS2 or XPSDR (or 555PS).

555 PS with CDS3 is amazing. Much better than the XPS imo. I still miss mine.

I have CDS2 with XPS power supply. When the CDS2 expires, can I use this power supply on my nDAC?

Silly me! I remembered that I already have XPS2 on my nDAC. When the CDS2 expires, I guess I will get a CD transport and use it in conjunction with nDAC to play CDs.

You can sell the XPS2 and use the XPS on the nDac and buy a transport for the money maybe.
