Hi all,
Does anyone know what is the capacitance of chord Clearway 4 pin din to rca and can it be used to connect a subwoofer to supercap?
Hi all,

You may want to check the Chord website. While I don’t believe they publish capacitance information, there’s a lot of information about Chord and Naim, including a Chord/Naim guide. You can also ask questions/find information under the Cable Doctor section.
Naim make a cable to connect the supercap din to two rca male plugs. I use it to feed two subs. Works great.
How long do you need the cable to be? Naim recommends that the cable is slugged with a 100r resistor if it’s long, and used to (possibly still do) make such a cable in 5 or 10 metre lengths.
Hi Chris, 1.5-2m long. Would I still need the resistor?
At that length you should be fine with the standard cable.
Having said that, I do think it’s worth experimenting with the location of a sub as this is crucial in getting it to integrate with the sound from your main speakers, and a very short cable probably doesn’t allow for this.
Thanks Chris
What is generally considered low capacitance?
