I am currently using a basic Cordial RCA cable to connect my Cayin HA-3A headphone amp to my Uniti Atom HE and its doing its job well but I’m wondering if upgrading the cable would bring noticeable improvements to the sound. AI seems to prefer the Chord ClearwayX as the best choice:

Anyone tried the ClearwayX or any other cable in the same price range that might also be worth considering?
We have Chord Epic X RCA cables in our system to connect our Qutest DAC to our Moon amp. We have Chord Clearway mains cables on our Blu ray player and S6 mains block that feeds it. All the Chord cables share a family sound in that they prioritise essential musical qualities, ie. PRaT, above other things. It’s possible to get smoother, sweeter sounding and more detailed cables, but if you want to maintain PRaT then the Chord Clearway is an excellent choice.
I had and still have some Chord câbles For me their strenght resides in smooth and organic sound. They have Prat, but a bit less than Naim cables or Audioquest.
But overall they represent the best compromise to my ears.
I don’t understand how you are able to tip on a keyboard from a hole in your garden?
Ignore AI and try a few yourself. There’s a great online retailer Futureshop that allows no hassle 60 day returns, they will even burn in cables for you. I bought 3 RCA digital cables together, and preferred the middle priced one (Epic) Sent the others back.
I am not sure Chord have a definite ‘house sound’ as I found significant differences between different versions. They are quality items though and not totally silly prices.
