Would connecting a Chord Hugo2 to a NAIM nDAC be possible or do I need to get a suitable cable made up?
Why would you want to, both are DACs ??
You’d want to connect ND5XS2 to Chord then connect Chord to 282 via RCA?
Awkward because the COAX input on Hugo 2 is 3.5mm. But you can buy a cheap BNC to 3.5mm lead.

Aha. I thought the Hugo was a streamer. It’s on the Chord website under “streamers”?
It shows a couple of products under Streamers, the 2GO and 2YU, which can be used with the Hugo2 to add streaming and network connectivity.
I thought of Chord first because I’m looking for an alternative to NAIM streaming which is breaking down far too often for my liking.
The latest problem with it’s sudden inability to connect with Qobuz (plus continuing lack of support response on the Forum) is very near to being the final straw.
So far, the Cambridge Audio MXN10 looks good but I’d be happy to hear of alternatives.
Have Naim support got back to you yet? Do you have a ticket number so I can email Naim and follow it up for you?
Are you using Android app?
There are threads on the forum and various Facebook groups about this - app version 7.4 on Android seems pretty broken around Qobuz. Haven’t read threads in detail as we use neither.
Yes I’m using Android. That others are widely talking about it is why I commented elsewhere that more attention regarding dovetailing development always seems in favour of the “i” empire whilst long-requested adjustments to the App/Android interface have seemingly been ignored since day one.
Naim support will not interact via the forum.
Thanks for the repetition.
Hi Richard, I have the same issue with the app but haven’t received a ticket number (yet). Duncan Roberts however asked me to provide more detail. So that’s what I have done. He may be able to provide some information on the matter.
Done that also. But no solution yet. The issues are now already 2 3 weeks. And not just me.
Yes emailed support.
Got the same mail back as others.
Hoping for a quick solution.
Did you notice this post on another thread?
Yes thanks I did.
