Chord S6 and M6 Mains Block owners - heads up

Just giving this a try on my S6. The screws weren’t very tight to begin with, but now loosened of a fraction of a turn.

I’ve also rearranged the order of power cables based upon your post above, so now (from supply end): ND5 XS2 (least noise), CD5si, blank, XS3, Flatcap XS (most noise). Is that likely to be the best order, where I’d prefer not to try all possible permutations?!

I would have put the ND5XS2 furthest from the supply as it’s an inherently noisy digital source. I would also leave the blank at the supply end so that everything is nearer to the other end. This is what Chord told me to do. In one of my S6’s I only have the TV and Blu ray player plugged in and they are in the last two sockets.

So I would say, from the supply end:

Blank, Blank, XS3, Flatcap XS, CD5si, ND5XS2

The power supply / amp should be less noisy than the digital sources.
