I had to move the right hand speaker about 1 foot closer to the other, due to the arrival of said tree
All that speaker optimisation thrown completely out of whack
Except that I prefer the sound, even though they are much closer together than ordinarily recommended 
I expect in time I’ll be happy to revert to original placement - we’ll see - but for now it’s not the hifi disaster I anticipated

Speakers safely tucked away and covered as my mother in law tends to use them as convenient shelves for make up or whatever. As you might expect, it doesn’t really work well like this, so for the next few days will resort to this:
