Ci-uniti 102 vs uniti atom

Specifically sound-wise. Though I am interested in thoughts about hi/low pass/cut offs and the ability to have some roomcompensation.

Have you downloaded the software that enables you to configure the CI 102 for a look? I did yesterday and posted screenshots on another thread:

I downloaded the software today, for a play. I suspect if you had a measuring microphone you might well be able to do a reasonable job of removing bass artefacts, and make bass/treble boost/cut changes relatively straightforwardly. With the caveats that horrendous speaker damage might occur if you mess it up. Looks interesting anyway, and I wonder if this might be a taste of more things to come from Naim in this area. It seems to do what you want. I guess that’s the reason for your interest here? Are you basically wanting the configurability the CI 102 offers, but don’t really want to compromise the SQ to obtain it?
