We always let the healthy weeds grow in the spring. I really like the look of dandelions.
I always wonder if I’m annoying any neighbours. I’d still do it, but I wonder.
I don’t put up a sign to explain because everyone should already know.
We have goldenrod in the fall and it’s beautiful. We think of plants like these as wildflowers.

I do have a sign up , but people should be aware. We live in a country that is seriously nature depleted and gardens can be a refuge for wildlife

I can sympathize with that as my allergies are terrible. I take way too many antihistamines and decongestants, but it keeps nature flourishing.

I don’t think I pinched this from the Joke thread but it seems to fit here

same with me when I lived in Toronto. Then no more when I moved to BC. My garden is infested with bees with lots of lavender etc.
