Compact disc player - retro?

I had a Denon DCD 3300 It was built like a tank and had tons of problems. Think I gave up after the third one.

The Karik is one of my all time favorite CD players. It was just brilliant.

And they even made their own mechs. Amazing for such a small company.

Thanks for helping make suggestions for suitable interconnects. I make up my own leads so am not really able to give recommendations for commercially available leads. Linn’s own leads are pretty decent though if RCA inputs are available on the preamp.

I use a Meridian 508. Definitely retro. Sounds superb to me.

I had a maranz cd player which was good. I part exchanged for the naim cd player the best audio
I have ever had. Especially for jazz modern and
Early. And classic rock.
