Heard Sunn 0))) at the same venue last year.
Will be another aural assault, Autechre may well play in total darkness as well.
Also just booked The Necks at Band on the Wall.
Really looking forward to that one too.
Fish in Nottingham in early March - perhaps I will bump into @Deeg!
I’ve always found Fish to be a captivating performer and as this tour will be his final shows, I am really looking forward to wishing the ‘Big Guy’ well.
Looking at the way he left Marillion, and how he has conducted himself since, I really do believe these will be his last shows. He has sold up and moved to a croft on one of the Scottish Islands. Will be emotional !
eXTC - Gloucester Guildhall

Yep, they played in total darkness.
Nervous moment when something failed after 15 minutes and there was 5 minutes of silence.
Or perhaps they were doing a John Cage cover?
More than made up for it by playing 30 mins longer than billed.
Amazing gig.
Off to see Joe Stilgoe tomorrow at the Concorde Club, Eastleigh.
At Pizza Express Holborn
Ese and The Vooduu People
11 April.
First time seeing the band this year…finally, the planets align.
Hope to see you there too @TheKevster!
Just managed to get tix for LCD Soundsystem’s 8 night residency at Brixton Academy
Just seen Orbital there. Great gig, great venue.
Here’s an unusual one I have booked!
Guy Davis - Live Gig
Venue
Upfront Arts Theatre, Penrith
Date
Saturday 17th May 2025 at 8:00PM
A 128 seater Puppet/Arts/Music theatre approx 10min from Penrith.
It’s not listed on Davis’s current tour (wondering if he’s doing it to support the arts as this is a charity run venue). £14 a ticket and only 26 tickets sold to date.
Suppose problem could be venue “in middle of nowhere”.
There is a website if anyone interested.
Ese and The Vooduu People making my June…
At Water Rats - a venue I’ve never been to so double bonus.
Really looking forward to this.
Been binging on the excellent 8CD box set and their latest on vinyl ‘Bleed’
Hania Rani at the Barbican at the Barbican in November. World Premiere of new work Non Fiction with The Manchester Collective and a set of her film and theatre music. Very much looking forward to this after her Ghosts album show at the same venue earlier this year.
