Connecting Linn Klimax DSM 2 to Naim Nap 300

I have borrowed a Linn Klimax DSM/2 and would like to know if anyone using a similar setup can recommend the best connectivity?

ie Balanced XLR to unbalanced XLR
or
RCA to unbalanced XLR

Also cables they are using ?
