Connection between Nac 282 - Supercap- Nap,300 DR

I want to say a massive thank you to those who contributed to a previous thread with the same heading as above.

I caved in today and brought home for an extended demo a Supercap DR (ex demo) , 300dr and 300PS to replace my CB 250 and CB hicap. Even doing the un manly thing of reading the manuals boy was i confused what plugged into what socket!

Determined not to phone the dealer back sounding like a muppet i used the search function which brought me to the previous thread and it was fantastic. Easy to follow with clear diagrams and great explanations from all who contributed. What a great resource and fountain of knowledge this forum is.

I have to say the sound is on a different level and my next task will be a more painful trip back to Gulliford in Exeter next week to pay as these new additions are not going anywhere now!

282/300 is a fabulous system.
Mine is powered by twin HiCap DR’s, but still sounds bloody wonderful.

It’s fantastic isn’t it?! Congrats! I have it in my second system, which is honestly the one that get’s listened to the most anyway. I just connected mine this week as well and it is sublime! I had a 282 about 10 years ago before getting the 252. Part of me has an urge to do the 252 but this combo with the supercap on the 282 with a 300 is magical right now. My sources are a NDS and LP12 with Wilson Duette’s. I feel like I could do something less boomy than the Duette but enjoying for now!
