I’ve had my Muso 2 for about a week, running the latest firmware. Every time the Muso goes into standby mode, it loses connection with WiFi and only reconnects when I switch it off and back on at the mains. The Muso is in the same room as the router, about 12 feet away, and signal strength is strong.
Also, the device name has reconfigured back to Muso xxxx and the app won’t let me change it to ‘Lounge’.
Any suggestions of how to fix this would be gratefully received!
I can speak to the second issue - maybe. Are you using Google Home?
My Muso 2 does that. I reported this to Google a number of months ago (pre-dating the most recent firmware update). Google acknowledged a bug but has done nothing to fix it. I was going nuts because the name kept reverting to Soundbar, but the Google Assistant associated that with a TV.
Workarounds (that sometimes work). These relate to giving commands to the Google Assistant. As for the name in the app, I threw in the towel.

Try changing the name to Muso Lounge.

Give the command to the Google Assistant on your iPhone. It seems to be smarter than the Nest devices.

In the Google Home App place it in a room by itself. My Muso 2 is in my Attic (which I don’t have). I can then say Hey Google, play some music in the Attic, and it figures out what to do.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately no, I don’t use Google Home.
I had the same problem with Muso QB, despite Dealers help and other many suggestions.
In the end, sold it on as I’d just had enough of it.
