Core refusing to eject cd

Argh. Have followed advice in here to turn off a disconnect - twice - and it is still refusing to eject a cd, on which it did not start the ripping process. Any idea how to force it to work?

There is a small pin holeā€¦ā€¦you need to press really hard with a paper clip and it will eventually eject.

Erm there want actually a cd in :grimacing: that would explain it.

Idiot (me) :person_facepalming:t2:

Just in case itā€™s ever helpful to someone reading this thread, you have to push really hard several times, as itā€™s a mechanical ejection, not triggering an electrical one as you would expect.

Yes, almost to the point of thinking you might break itšŸ˜¬

Interestingly, when we were beta testing Core firmware a couple of years ago I had to do a manual eject and Will told me that I should take the power off first (ā€œfor safety reasonsā€). I didnā€™t mention that I had just done it with the power on!
