I’m thinking of purchasing an ultrasonic record cleaner - the Hummingguru Nova. It’s on the Juno site (UK distributor) as a shade under £800, but is advertised direct from the Hong Kong based manufacturer at c£600, including shipping, but not inclusive of import duty and VAT. Has anyone bought direct, or do they know the additional costs?

When I bought my in January 2025 the price I was charged was the price I paid with no additional import duties.
Depending on your location I know Soundcraft HiFi in Ashford Kent now stock the full Humminguru range of cleaners and accessories and are always open to a deal if you ask nicely. 
I bought the Humminguru direct, less expensive than Juno.
When I bought my original HG from HK, there were no extra charges. But as already mentioned, contact Soundcraft for a price. I know they are keen to make their mark with HG kit in the UK.
I bought mine from juno, was only a few pounds difference, why wait weeks, when you could have it within maybe days
