When i reconnected today my Atom to the mains (which was switched off during an absence) there was a short but loud crackling sound through the speakers followed by an update running (visible on the screen). The same happened earlier and each time when this reconnecting to the mains is followed by an update information on the screen. This does not happen when there is no update. Anyone else?
