DAC V1 > Nait XS3 or Supernait3

Good Morning!

I have a DAC V1 that I use for headphones listening from Roon Nucleus via USB. Love it.

Will be adding an integrated amp (XS3 or SN3) via AV bypass to an Arcam AVR11 for a step up in the two front channels (Sonus Faber Sonetto III).

Can I, or should I, connect the DAC V1 to the Nait amp via DIN cable (4>5 pin) to “Stream in/out” for listening to two channel music?

Will the V1 play nice with the newer Amps?

Then presumably connect the AVR11 pre amp outputs to the Nait “AV input” via RCA for Home Cinema use.

If I listen to just music via DAC V1 / Nait, should the AV Bypass be switched off before use?

Anything to be aware off using AV Bypass that should be avoided in the real world?

Want to weigh up the difference between the music using V1 v AVR11, presuming Naim will be the choice.

One final question, XS3 or SN3…? Good offers on both models right now, so going back/forth on the practical differences.

Thank you for any advice you can provide!

AV bypass is only effective on the av input and has no bearing on anything else.
Since the dac v1 is also a preamp, you can connect it to the av input and use av bypass to use just the dac v1 preamp (otherwise you are using dac v1 preamp and integrated amp preamp).
However as you want to use an av amp as well, use another input for the dac v1, set output to fixed (or leave it as variable and adjust as appropriate to get the input level needed).
SN3 is the better amp, but you may prefer the sound of the XS3; listen to both if you can. Neither is a bad choice.
