Dan's thread

Many of them also show very human feelings even if the macho guys need to address them, and several are very touching.

I’m particularly fond of John Wayne movies - ok, he’s the big guy who can stand up for himself but in the vast majority he looks after everyone. I guess a few scenes in some of them might be considered a bit misogynistic these days but wasn’t life much simpler back then?

I think we probably have a similar mindset, and while death is inevitable and there are more likely causes with certain diagnoses we simply don’t know how things will end.

I’ve had diabetes for over 15 years and I struggle to think beyond a prospect of corking it early due to associated complications or increased risk, but something completely different might be the cause.

The mental aspects of these things are sometimes harder than less obvious physical ones.

It is the drugs ( obviously ) after my intestine burst and the subsequent colostomy, a friend came to visit and right before my very eyes :eyes: he turned into a six foot blue goldfish .

I had the morphine removed shortly afterwards.

One of life’s stranger experiences

Take care, stay safe, stay snug

Best wishes

50 persons were shot and killed in Marseille last year. It’s a lot.

It’s doubled I understand. Alot of those killed are young people involved in drug wars. Amount of deaths per head is terrible. London is about 120 a year but its population is 10 times larger than Marseille.

Marseille has just under a million population.

Clearly, it’s Dan’s world.

He just allows Chuck Norris to live in it.

That is a very dehumanising place to live, reminds me of places in the UK. (Broadwater Farm for example)

I think Marseille is meant to be a very interesting place to live and visit. It has alot going on. Yes, it has problems, but I would imagine alot of it is inspiring.

There’s a lot of similar areas around Paris, Lyon, Grenoble….
Yes, very dehumanising. Around 60% of people have no work. Mostly from North Africa.

Yes, Marseille can be very nice too. My favourite places are the Calanques, as shown on the left of the picture.

This is worth a read for those inclined.
It talks about its use as a preventative solution and as a cure…

Useful stuff for many things no doubt (cleaning, baking), but a miracle cure? Surely all it does is alter acid/base balance and that could be unfavourable for some. It’s just gonna hit the stomach and turn to water and C02 if taken orally (if you’re producing enough HCl anyway).

I’m intrigued now.

My short time in Marseille was spent visiting Corb’s Unité.

Well worth a read.
It cites many examples of putting cancer into remission.

You didn’t posted the entire pic. :joy:

More seriously now, I have a question for those who are doctors or good medical knowledge. It’s also related to this thread.
Is growth hormone can boost our body and energy, when we pass 60 years old ?
Can it boost the recovery after a surgery ?

Apparently yes, but that’s only Dr Googles opinion I’d check with a real professional.

Some here go to Switzerland to have this hormone. They say they feel like with 10 years less. ( on a tv documentary).

People try all sorts of things when they’re desperate, and there’s lots of cons out there that are happy to take their money.
