Has anyone got or auditioned this turntable.
Dark side of the moon by Pro-ject Audio Systems.
Can only see part of it.
Sorry.

These theme turntables all seem kind of silly to me. The rainbow lighting on this would get very old and boring, very quickly for me.
The Clearaudio distributor sent my dealer one of those Al Dimeola guitar turntables and they just want to be rid of it. They can sell a better Clearaudio with a better arm for about the same money.
Precisely, and I don’t even own any vinyl

Pro-Ject have been doing “themed” turntables for some time, I can think of an AC/DC and Yellow Submarine .
To each their own

I suspect they work to get people who own zero turntables into the market. People who were ‘on the fence’ about getting a turntable . . . see these . . . and some (small?) percent say ‘that’s cool’ and buy it. They played vinyl in their uni housing 40 or 50 years ago . . . played that album ‘til it wore out . . . and take a leap. My guess is that that’s the intended market.
I rather like the Technics TT but the Pro_Ject seem “quirky”
Not without branding or other obvious thematic treatment on the turntable itself.
Barely qualifies, LOL. They should have put that on the front.

To my thinking, that is still the most desirable TT on the planet. It’s a thing of beauty.
