Back to OP … I am listening to David Hazeltine Trio/The Jobim Songbook on dCS Bartok > ATC SCM19As, the rhythmic drive and urgency with this jazz trio playing off each other, with stated ‘percussion, nuance and natural tonality’ is to my ears truly compelling; DAVE must be off the chart to beat it

No, I tried PS Audio DirectStream and Auralic Vega 2 in looking for a single box replacement for 272

But then I heard the Bartok; I now have a minimal footprint of Bartok + ATC SCM19As
