My son is now in a job that needs good grammar, and does not have a good command of same.
For example knowing how and when to use the apostrophe.
Without being critical, can anyone recommend a useful guide book or web site for such matters that is easy to use and understand?

This came up tonight at dinner as in his job he is looking at an advertising campaign for mothers day, instead of mother’s day, and was criticised for the error.
If you are in the UK then strictly speaking it’s “Mothering Sunday”.
Ireland
Might be mothers’ day as it “belongs to” all mothers.
Anyway it’s a good book. Not too heavy and good fun.
And of course, as we know, it is really Mothering Sunday.

I’ve not read this but the concept seems a little… familiar? I wonder if Lynne Truss gets a share of the royalties? 
Just to resurrect this thread with a grumble.
What is it with albums/artists and names in lower case?
This week in my music collection Taylor Swift’s ‘evermore’ has been joined by Indigo Sparke ‘echo’ where every track name also eschews capitals and even worse tindersticks have decided to kick the same off their own name, causing me to think I had failed to properly load it on my NAS until I found it filed at the end of the menu after ‘z’. Grrr.
It is not cool or clever. Stop it.
