Dears, I’m new here, so please apologize if I’m entering this question here. I’ve got nac 172xs and nap 200. Last time I bought flatcap 2, so finally I can not connect both devices to flatcap. For this purpose I’m wondering if it’s possible to get somewhere adapter / cable din 5 270 to din 4.

Welcome Tomasz. The Flatcap 2 is not required in this setup as it’s not needed to power anything.
You only need the 172 and 200 and these are connected together via a SNAIC4 cable.
Hi James, thanks for your response and explanation. Indeed it’s like you described, nevertheless my goal was to enhance a bit power supply for this set like external power supply source, which should improve sound quality as well - it was my intention at least. Now I guess, flatcap is not needed in my system. I really promised myself something to connect these both into one flatcap. Regards Tomasz
Welcome Tomasz. As James explains above, the NAC-N172 has its own onboard Power supply and cannot be used or upgraded with an off-board supply like a Flatcap. The Flatcap can power other things though such as a Naim phono stage, or a Headline headphone amp, so it may not be entirely without use for you?
