Din/XLR Channel exchanged

Yesterday i swapped my 62/HC/250, with an older combo in my collection of another 42.5/HC/250. Then i found the L/R channels exchanged. It drove me mad checking speaker cables, swapping preamp, Hicap and 250. At the end with the newer combo, the culprit turned out being the latching din/XLR cables of the older amp. I can’t really figure out how can be this.

Do both 250 amps have ch2 as the bottom pin?

Think so, the upper screw Is the same, i ’ ll take a look btw

Definetely not, since the newer cables is ok on the older amp

I carried the din/xlr cable today at LASA, the channels were actually exchanged. It’ s incredibile like in 40+ years body discovered this.

It worths you getting a slightly newer latching din-xlr with Naim plastic xlr anyway, that metal xlr plug rings like bell with cb250.

Thank you for your tip Juliushui !
