Disabling the UPnP renderer via API (like the Google Cast tosAccepted command)? Naim Mu-So 2nd generation

Hi @Stevesky,

In Disabling Google Cast you shared this power-user command, which worked perfectly for me:

There are power user ways to resolve this annoyance
Work out the local IP address of your streamer. Then in a web browser paste this in:
http://192.168.0.2/api/setData?path=settings%3A%2Fgooglecast%2FtosAccepted&role=value&value=%7B%22type%22%3A%22bool_%22%2C%22bool_%22%3Afalse%7D

Is there an equivalent setData command to disable the UPnP media renderer (DMR), so the streamer is no longer visible to UPnP control points like Audirvana or BubbleUPnP?

What I’ve tried on my Mu-so 2 (fw 4.5.0.6644): disabled the Server input in the app (settings:/upnpClient/disable_input is true) and power-cycled, but the unit is still advertised as a UPnP renderer. I also browsed settings:/upnpRenderer via getRows and found only metadata, supported formats and the UDN β€” no enabled key.

Use case: my Naim Mu-so 2nd generation is on an office LAN and I’d like it to be controllable only via the Naim/Focal app, not accept pushed streams from other clients on the network.

Thanks!

Hi @Akron

Unfortunately that built in service can’t be disabled.

Regards

Steve
