Maybe Klink treat SWMBO so she can just forget about the NACA5 and focus on something more important in life
Thank goodness I don’t have to please my partner with such things…he’s very forgiving and kinda leaves me to sort out the hifi stuff…he’s absolutely loving the system I’ve put together
I’m guessing if we turned it around it’d be HWMBO (he!)
I’m actually sorry that anyone has to please their other half in this way…there are so many other things to worry about in life that are surely more important than a bit of NACA5 cable showing…come on
If I only had to worry about a bit of cable showing my life would be so much simpler…but kinda boring too I guess!
My NACA5 is just chucked in and it does it’s own thing with coiling but we are both perfectly happy with that
Maybe I’m just lucky to have a very understanding partner…I love him to bits
However my partner is very understanding about my hifi and says very little against what I think is best for it….he jokes about me buying 3.5m of NACA5 because that’s what’s recommended though.. but he also understands that it’s kinda ‘my thing’
I absolutely don’t mind him suggesting what looks better in the room eg. raw vs black for the stands and I agree the black SS5’s look absolutely lovely
You’re really lucky to have such an understanding partner.
SWMBO has put up with my strange expensive obsession for decent sound for almost 60 years with only minor quibbling & head shaking & her present disability means she’s stuck looking at the errant cables for much more of the time, so was happy to try & improve her view, especially as she has an amazing ear for A/B sound improvements - it only takes one bar of music for her to judge any modifications………takes me much longer……
However ‘disguising’ NACA5 is a totally different problem as it’s really not very flexible so can be difficult to hide
My solution? Don’t hide it and just let it do its thing. Who cares
My NACA5 looks like an out of control boa constrictor but luckily both myself and my lovely partner have other things to worry about in our life rather than a bit of wayward cable
